Breakfast Nooks

As the door closes on Kitchen & Bath month, we wanted to sneak in one of our favorite parts of the kitchen. There's nothing we love more than a sunny breakfast nook with a couple of chairs and just enough space to have a coffee and bagel in the morning. For some inspirational interiors, click through...

Some of these spaces are small and some are big, but they all share an intimate appeal that comes from casual seating, a homey vibe, and lots of light. For more cozy kitchens from Apartment Therapy, make sure to check out the Kitchen Tours on our sister site.

The last one is SO CUTE. I would love to have a breakfast table like that!

To clarify: The whole setup in the kitchen itself is what I like about it - all the elements together.

I like these -- they're cute -- but I would think that in an apartment where space is at a premium, a "unitask" area like a breakfast nook would be a luxury. It would have to be the primary eating area, or double as a laptop desk or something. I think a lot of people here would probably disapprove of the latter because of the kind of paper clutter it would accrue.
