We have a small confession to make, and although this will be a huge shocker to most, we just want to lay all our cards on the table—we love using items in ways that they aren't traditionally used. That being said, we literally squealed out loud when we came across these kitchen cabinet faucet handles...
Mary over at Shelterrific has been sitting on an idea she picked up from Good Housekeeping, more than two years ago! Finally being able to put the idea of using outdoor faucet handles on her cabinets, into action- she's proudly given us a peek at them.
Her retro kitchen if fabulous in its own right, but the small detail of the outdoor hardware being used inside, is as fun as it is practical. Make sure to check out Shelterrific for loads more pictures and details!
Thanks Mary!

I've been watching a seller on eBay who always manages to have a fantastic group of these in different colors and sizes. I want some hanging in a mudroom or in a kids' bathroom for robes and towels.

I think that they would even be cuter if somehow they projected out from the door even more. Maybe with a dowl, a cut piece of pipping, etc. Just an idea.

they don't pass the pinky test. You ought to be able to open cabinets with one pinky finger. Think about it...
