At Home is a nearly two year old vintage furnishings shop in Lakeview. We stopped in and took a few photos this past weekend.
Owner Kerry Delaney does all the buying for the shop, picking vintage and antique goods from all over and then showcasing them in the Lincoln Ave. storefront.
The look is traditional/eclectic, with a few surprises: we spotted a silverleaf finish on the woodwork of two matching apartment-sized sofas and a side chair redone in a raspberry upholstery. The prices we looked at were fair and the upholstery and other refinishing work looked well done.

I walked past this place this weekend on my way to get some sneakers at Universal Sole. I meant to stop by on my way home, but went in a different direction. Must make sure to pop in.

At Home is a hidden gem! It's one of the first places I hit when I'm looking for something vintage. Expect to find unique and reasonably priced pieces. If that's not enough, Kerry (the owner) is the mastermind behind everything you see -- she has a wonderful sense of how to combine old and new, and she's one of the few that still go above and beyond to make your experience in her store exciting, comfortable and easy. Check in often, though! Her inventory moves quickly and she always has something new on the floor.
