Best of Three: Modern Wooden Lamps

While reviewing some teen bedding for Ohdeedoh, we noticed that Delia*s now sells lighting. It was one of the lamps we found there, which inspired this Best of Three.

Top Photo - Mango Wood Oblong Lamp: Hand-carved from mango wood, 14" tall with a cream colored shade. For $165.

Bottom Left Photo - Delia*s Wood Lamp: Features a white shade with a forest scene in the interior, 8" tall. For $39.

Bottom Right Photo - Rhythm Table Lamp by Adesso: Stacked bentwood ovals with a walnut finish, 19.5" tall. For $86.

wow, I'm impressed Delia*s! I like the simplicity of the first one the best. I think it's a nice selection altogether though.

Wait, "Forest scene on shade interior" ? I liked the Delia*s one the best when I thought it was a white shade, but now I'm super curious to know whats up with this "forest scene"! Is there a pic anywhere?

Is the whole lamp 8" tall, or just the wood base? Is it a miniature or something?

Figures...the lamp I like the most is the most expensive one in the bunch! Guess that just means I have caviar taste on a tuna fish budget.

SFGail, I was confused about the size as well. If it's really only 8" tall, then it's super puny. I'm guessing the size listed is the base only.

And yes, what up with not showing the magical forest scene in any photos? That's just being a tease!
