Dutch design, seventies chic and affordable?
Yes. This super metallic cube bedside lamp (and, of course, it really could work in any room) is priced at $65. US from Dutch by Design. It's made from shiny aluminum and features a mirror-finish bulb, which according to site "gives a wonderful subtle glow".

I bought the "Gypsy" black chandelier from Dutch by Design a few months back. It took about 2 weeks to arrive, which wasn't too bad considering it was coming from overseas.
In person the chandelier was more "cheapy" looking than I had envisioned. Now that it's hung up you don't notice that so much though. The only other issue I had is that the wiring is not the same as American lighting (wires are purple, blue and white, so I have had trouble finding someone who is familiar enouigh with european products to hook up the wiring.
Just beware, as plugs, wiring, etc, may differ from American products.
