Budget-Conscious Plexiglass and Acrylic Chandeliers

We found a great post on inexpensive plexiglass chandeliers over at Kim Vallee's blog...these ones from French retailer Incidence are an unbelievable deal at 38 Euros each! She had a tough time sourcing similar finds in the US, although she found some nice ones at Home Depot Canada. We did a quick search for similar budget-conscious plexi chandeliers here in the US and found the usual suspects from Urban Outfitters and IKEA, but nothing under $100 that rivals the wow factor of the French chandeliers.

Left to Right:
Glansa Lysa Chandelier, $44.99 at IKEA
Spectrum Chandelier, $36 at Urban Outfitters
Uptown Chandelier, on sale for $24.99 at Urban Outfitters

We're pretty disappointed with the results our quick search turned up. Any suggestions for cheap plexiglass chandeliers available in the US?

I still love the gypsy chandelier from Dutch by Design.

I haven't seen anything reasonably priced. While poking around for these online, I found something interesting - the Eames molded plywood chair in acrylic. It's actually more expensive than a new Eames chair, but it looks pretty awesome.

I've had my eye on the beaded chandeliers from Shop Wild Things: www.shopwildthings.com

You could also add some more crystals of different color to mix it up.
