Chandeliers from $50 to $500

To add a little oomph to a space, nothing works quite as well as a chandelier. These high-drama light fixtures often come with a high price tag, but there are a lot of affordable options out there. If you don't have a lot to spend, you can use spray paint to dress up an inexpensive, second-hand find or you can try one of the budget versions listed below...

the garland light is great but you need at least three sheets to adequately cover the bulb so it ends up being a lot more than $80. Plus it doesn't come with a cord kit...but still more affordable than a lot of chandeliers out there!

I purchased this one recently from Pottery Barn for $399 http://www.potterybarn.com/products/p9660/index.cfm?pkey=cchandeliers

What I love about it even more is that when I went to Home Depot to purchase a dimmer switch, I saw an almost identical chandelier there (not as many crystals) for $150 more.

Avan-

Wow, truly a suprising case of the Pottery Barn option being cheaper!

Over the weekend we lucked out and picked up an awesome looking chandelier at Fortunoff. Original price $400, our price, a whopping $38!! We figure even if it is too big for the space or we don't like it, we could probably turn it around and sell it for double that on CL!

I regret not purchasing a blue faux crystal chandelier that home depot was selling a couple months ago for $150.00. Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive blue chandelier?

About the Ruby Red chandelier above - it's from Spectrum Home/Great Chandeliers, and I cannot urge you enough not to do business with them.

Their product is not well made and they are a nightmare to deal with. Also, they do not accept returns even if the product is defective.
