Kobo Soy Candles

010907kobo1.jpgWhile Christmas shopping last month, we came across a sweet little shop in Lincoln Square, Hanger 18 (to be blogged later!).

This stop turned into one of those semi-shameful shopping excursions in which we left with no gifts for others, only gifts of the selfish kind. One of the great things we grabbed: the Champagne Ginger Kobo soy candle, which was burning in the store and smelling it up wonderfully.

The scent combos made it difficult to choose the perfect one for our (at the time) upcoming holiday mood: Artemesian Lemongrass, Fresh Currant, Golden Mimosa, or Water Mint. But in the end we went with our nose's impulse and chose the store's candle of choice.

Also available online from Adasa ($33 each, 11 oz., 70 hour burn time). And talk about beautiful packaging! The canister's paper is worthy of walls, and each candle comes with a reusable stand and a box of matches.

I LOVE this shop - the kitchen stuff in the back is to die for, especially the plastic (melamine?) plate sets. Fabulous.

This shop is GREAT!! I sell to lots of stores, but this one has the coolest stuff at great prices and the staff is super friendly and helpful! My favorite place to buy gifts and a little something for myself:)
