We went to IKEA over the weekend and picked up some Basisk wall lamps, a Bjarnum shelf, and a pack of cord covers. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them on the IKEA website, but the plastic Montera cord covers ($3 for a pack of 3) ended up being the perfect solution to the dangling cord problem. Just big enough to cover one cord, the white sleeves have a sticky back that adheres to the wall. We were able to cut them down to size and create a clean look that's almost as good as a hard-wired wall sconce.
