A brass petticoat peeks out from under the shade of the Proper Lamp. Designed in 2007 by WIS Design in Stockholm, the lamp strikes a balance between hard (wooden shade) and soft (brass netting) as well as combining clean modernist lines and pure decoration. We'd love to see this in person, the quality of the light diffused through the golden net must be beautiful.
