Yet another good source for retro lighting, Dallas' Swank Lighting is run by Ed Sexton and Doug Taylor. According to the site, the duo ran across a "long hidden, nearly forgotten treasure trove of handblown vintage Murano lamps from the 40s, 50s and 60s."
They bought the entire contents of the warehouse containing the lamps and the rest, as they say is history. There is an online site and a recently opened showroom. Here are a few examples of the Swank Lighting style:
More info on Swank can be found right here.
Most of those lamps are simply gorgeous, but if the starting price for them is $1,800, I'm just going to have to lust after them forever.

No you won't.
You can get some great pairs of Murano lamps on eBay for far-far less. You may have to put some effort into cleaning them up, rewiring and purchasing new shades & finials - but you can easily get the look for @ 1/5th what these guys are charging or less.

Beautiful - I love these lamps! Thanks for the heads up on the prices, I'm glad I had an idea about how expensive they were before I looked.
