Vintage Cloisonné Lamps

One of my favorite pieces is this vintage cloisonné-style lamp I inherited from my grandmother. (The little metal horse is another favorite gift from a friend.) Cloisonné, a technique used for layering enamel onto an object, incorporates gold or silver details. In decor, this technique is loosely translated into decorative patterns with several layers of color and sheen.
