Often times we come across spaces in which our socks are knocked right off. This is of course, assuming you're wearing socks; I guess you could substitute hosiery or sandals into this slot.... but I digress. Earlier today, AT:LA showed us a living room makeover by Jude, over at Run4istRun and now we would like to show you the other space she designed. Click through the jump for lots of appletini-colored fabulousness.

Run4istRun has graciously shared her 2 living room makeovers with us. They are rich with texture and color while still being able to have small collections and loads of personality and memories in her spaces. Check out the pictures below of her bright Appletini and Icy Blue Rooms...

These are some photos of the room the icy blue room, with an impromptu molding treatment we featured earlier today on AT:LA!

yech, it's all a little too much for me... that much color needs some room to breathe, and this just all seems crammed fulla STUFF.

I agree with matchjames...too much stuff and too much going on! I adore the green and I would love to see more of the bare walls. It's a great design and all it needs it's some tough-love editing.

agreed. makes me feel claustrophobic, same as the other room featured by her.

This room is need of some major editing and new fabric for the couch. Then it could be striking in a good way.

Love the art work.
I also love the spotlights above the artwork.

Just looking at the pictures of this makes me feel like I need to find a quiet corner to calm down. Wayy too much going on, I like the colors and the idea, but this is like fitting three rooms' worth of stuff in one!

No socks to fly off, but my tights did just shimmy down a little bit.
I've never liked this color before, but for some reason, seeing it here made me smile, especially in the very first photo.

Tough crowd. I think it's well done. Editing would need to be done if this was done for a client who would need space to make the room their own. The "stuff" in here is what makes it hers!
I have to agree with seaside about the couch though. I love what she's done with the room, but the couch isnt for me. The pattern is what bothers me. I think a solid color would give eyes a place to settle for a moment.
Other than that, way to go run4istrun! Tastefully bold.

I love this. I think it feels like a real room that someone loves and actually lives in.

I dont know, I think its fun! I couldnt be that bold, but if you love color, well there ya go!!
There is something about it that I really like.
Then again, maybe I have had too much caffeine today...

mostly, i love it. it might be a BIT too much stuff, but maybe just covering that sofa in a clean solid fabric would help ease that feeling.
i actually DO like it next to the other room. it is all very intense and exciting. i would love to live there, but i'd probably edit the artwork a bit and take one or two things off all surfaces.

I think I like it too. It's not horrible, she does have a lot of stuff but I think the rooms are well done. Very bold indeed!

Wow, it's very striking, not my design taste but massive props for using such a strong colour. With such a colour I think having large pieces and art is need to not be over powered by the room. I like how the sofa which would be busy in any other room looks calm compared to the rest of the room.
Credit for at least not making another mid century yawn-fest of a room.

The "stuff" is what makes it look like a showroom in a cheap furniture store, not "personal", it all looks off the rack to me. I get where they're going.. but I need a good 50% of it removed, the super-obvious zebra chairs to a more tasteful pattern, and the couch recovered to a pattern-less neutral.

I really like this room -
Perhaps the sofa fabric isn't the best choice, but maybe it was a vintage find or was pre-existing - either way, it isnt completely wrong nor is it the typical Crate/Room/Pottery-Board/Barn/Barrel boxy-taupe-microfiber-drabness.
And the room is well-edited -- notice how the artwork is all B&W, as are the chairs, accessories, cocktail table, orchids - and there's just enough blue and orange to make it interesting.
Sure as heck beats some of the other drab/dull/boring "After" rooms we've seen here...

I think it's great. actually like the sofa a lot. it might not be right in a place you want to relax but I find it stimulating.

I agree that there is too much furniture in the room, and the burnt sienna painting does not fit in at all. But I generally like the green room (though I don't like the molding in the blue room).
Not sure how the rooms work with the rest of the house though, including the apparently adjoining dining room and kitchen.

I thought Marlon did "appletini" much, much better:

holy moly, she is pretty amazing...do I see a bit of Adler's influence here?

Bravo to a personal (click through and read about the objects - they're there because they're meaningful, which is what a home is for) and beautiful space that isn't just another slavish Eamesfest. If the color's too strong for you, don't copy it - but Jude says it energizes her. Not everyone wants a beige box.

I LOVE this shade of green- but I do call is hideous chartreuse. I couldn't go so overwhelmingly bold on my wall- I but I do have lots of accessories this color and I always get complements from friends who are very surprised that it works so well in my place.

I'd say it's 'crazy pretty'...

I'd love to see everyone's homes on here. So quick to judge but last time I checked design was individual and taste is subjective. Bold use of color. Some great ideas. Everything my personal taste. Not exactly. But lighten up.

Wow. SO much negativity here. I'm not sure if the room's owner will see this, but I really like that you went all-in with your style, and that you've got a great mix of color, texture and layering. Also, this room has PERSONALITY. And that's great.
