2006-09-25-provlogo.gif Logan Square foodies got to go local this past February when Tracy Kellner opened Provenance Food and Wine on California.

2006-09-25-provenance.jpg It is a grocery and wine shop with a focus on eating and drinking well everyday. Affordable wines (most between 10. and 25.), Red Hen bread, artisanal cheeses and nice chocolates are available - really, what more do you need?

Ok, maybe some meat and fish, pasta, olives; they are available as well. Provenance calls itself an "everyday market" on their site. Kellner also includes a handy list of nearby BYOB restaurants where you can enjoy your Provenance wine purchase.
