We hear rec rooms are back. This palette has party all over it.
What's hiding behind those multi-colored doors?

The upright looks amazingly old-fashioned in this otherwise pop world, from the glorious archives of Plan59 and its swell decor gallery.
i was under the impression that i would find out what was behind the doors.....

Judging from the color scheme and the age of the photo, I would guess that several of those cabinets contain Oompa Loompas.

The piano looks so out of place in that room.

Look at how large that radio speaker is - not even stereo!

Well? Are you going to show us what's behind the doors? Or was that just a lure?

I wouldn't have wondered aloud (in print) what was behind the doors, and I probably wouldn't have wondered it inside my head. Unless people are really kooky, they're going to have the same things in their family/entertainment room cabinets that everyone else has, given the space. I don't think they're keeping donuts, mittens, kittens, or hotel soaps in it. Boring typical assortment of TV, media/stereo, videos, games, board games and puzzles, possibly some toys, and even less possibly, a home office. Although... given the last "treatment" of doing away with the "home office" by getting a laptop computer (never would have occurred to me, honestly), nobody does their homework or personal business in that room (they might have a more serious set-up elsewhere if totally necessary), but they might waste a lot of time goofing off around the internet in that space. Maybe some of them fold down for seating.

I also thought the contents of the cabinets would be revealed behind the cut. sigh.
