We spied this cheerful creature in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis.
A bird? An baby elephant? Mr. Snuffleupagus? Whether accidental or intentional, we see something happily animal in these needles.
Look! Accidental(?) Topiary
Maybe it's time to pick up the twine and shears to coax something whimsical from the arborvitae blocking the neighbor's driveway.

Looks like a weeping norway spruce (picea abies 'pendula'. They naturally grow that way with it if staking when you start them out.
