Yesterday we spent the afternoon downstate at
Tanners Orchard. We fed the goats and llamas, bought 26 (!) ears of corn for $2.99, a dozen apples, and another dozen apple cider donuts. One of the things we always love about going to Tanners is their collection of antique stoves for displaying their homemade jams, applebutter, and pickled vegetables. Here's what we saw:
I grew up near Tanner's Orchard... What a pleasant thing to see!
not really similar. jut another kind of unusualy shape desk. looks very pretty in person. www.roomandboard.com/rnb/collection.do?method=get&id=378362&cat=49
I live near Tanner's and it's the greatest place to visit in the fall! There's nothing like getting out of the city and spending time on an apple farm, but watch out...there are loads of people who come and parking and crowds are there every weekend...best time is 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Sat. to enjoy a peaches and cream muffin and cappacino...
