Look! Breakfast Tray Side Table

9-6-07breakfasttraytable2.jpg

We picked up this little metal-and-glass breakfast tray at IKEA a while ago. (Sorry, but we can't remember the name and we couldn't find it online... any ideas?)

We thought we'd use it for a laptop tray, but the legs were a little too long. The other day, we repurposed it as a side table for our couch. It's just the right size and height for the small space between the sofa and the wall.

The white "cafeteria tray" is from Willow on Damen Avenue. We use it to organize our coasters, a little moleskin journal and a scented candle. At about $15 for the breakfast tray and around $15 for the organizer, our little end table was only $30!

(Please excuse our shabby-chic baseboards. Maybe we'll get to that project during the Fall Cure.)

It's a bedside table.

Er, Tolga bedside table. I tried to link to it, but I guess I'm rusty on my html. Here's the link. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00122214

Thanks, RMarie! We should have realized it was a bedside table...one of those impulse purchases from IKEA that we saw for a brief moment on the floor and remembered as a breakfast tray.
