Look!: Chandelier in Pisa, Italy

We enjoyed a few days in Pisa, Italy last weekend for a friend's wedding. Before the ceremony, we filled our camera's memory up with the richest sites, rooms, and furniture we could find. At the Royal Victoria Hotel, the details were to die for. This chandelier in the lobby is one of those antique pieces that we see being replicated all the time now - for use in a modern home. It's one of many Italian design objects we longed to take back home with us!

We just returned from trip to Italy and it was fantastic!...If your headed towards Venice I would love to recommend a little place we stayed at that was full of great form and function in small spaces. The link to the hotel and pictures is www.cadeidogi.com
We went with another couple and they had the bigger, "fancy" room but both rooms had tight but very stylish, well designed baths and each bedroom had neat built-in's like a boat might have and they even had what I thought may have been a fold-down shelf/seat uder a window to act as a nightstand on one side of the bed. A really neat use of space and they had a great sense of style. Nothing in Venice is cheap but this was a reasonable rate. Have a great trip
