apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

On Sunday we made a trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory. A great, old-fashioned and inexpensive thing to do with family in town (and with various tastes to please), the visit was conversation-provoking, unexpected at times, and thoroughly beautiful. In addition to the evergrowing palms, cacti, and flowering plants, Niki in the Garden is currently on display through Oct. 31 - and large, colorful sculptures dot the gardens.
