Look! Modern Architecture in Super Bowl Commercial

We love spotting modern architecture in mainstream media, like the home in this Toyota Venza commercial that aired last night during the Super Bowl. Sure, the game was exciting and all, but we can't stop thinking about that kitchen...

We're digging those natural wood plank ceilings and that sharp tomato-red cabinet in the kitchen. If you watch the full ad, you'll see a close-up of the house's natural wood garage door. We liked that, too.

The woven structure at the end of the ad reminds us of something right out of Shigeru Ban's play book:

I saw this commercial and had to pause it several times to look at the different elements. I really love this house.

Whoa, am I Venza. Yeah if I get to have that house! BTW there's some pretty sexy imagery in that ad, too...

Well, I saw modern furniture in a feminine hygiene product commercial last night and decided that it definitely must be the peak (and end) of the trend. I like the trend, but it's ubiquitous.
