Look!: Modlife

We keep trying and trying to get inside Modlife, but every time we go, it's dark, quiet, and closed. Yesterday was no exception, but the window displays were so enticing we snapped a few shots anyway, just to give you a glimpse.

(Look for a full "store" post in the future, as soon as we can get inside. Modlife is located at 3856 N. Lincoln Ave.)

Great looking stuff!!! I'm going to have to check this place out. Good luck with trying to go when they're open.

I have been in modlife a number of times on the weekends. It's a great store and the guy who owns it is awesome and super nice. I prefer Modlife to Ravenswood Antique Mart. Definently worth the stop

Sarah, What are modlife's prices like? I like Ravenswood Antique Mart, so now I'm definitely going to have to check this place out.

Modlife is comparable in price to Ravenswood Antique Market which I find a tad high although the quality is very good. The owner is very nice and knowledgable. I used to like to go to Tragara as well that was across the street from Modlife that had a similar vibe. Sadly it is no longer.

The guy who runs the place is kind of arrogant and full of himself, but he's got a good eye and always has nice things. He's also pretty much always out on the road buying stuff. If you can put up with his attitude when he's actually in the store, you might make some decent scores.
