On Sunday we headed out of the city for what was likely our last summer hoorah...a visit to a friend's lakehouse in Bass Lake, IN. Like most lake homes/cottages, this one continues to enjoy a simple life with minimal updates and only true necessities for vacation living. A few features we loved included this wood salt 'n pepper set and the acorn motif-covered ceiling panels:
