Look! Pet-Friendly & Wheat Pasted Tree

121908-petfriendly.jpg AT:Chicago reader, Adrienne Rogers opted out of a traditional Christmas tree this year. Instead, she designed this graffiti-inspired ice cream cone tree. Adrienne simply printed it out and wheat pasted it onto plywood. It's a great way to have a fun and festive holiday without taking up floor space or spending your afternoons sweeping pine needles! 121908-petfriendly2.jpg Although wheat pasting is usually done by darkness on telephone poles and bridges, it can be an easy an inexpensive way to add some color into your space without any commitment to it. Adrienne can change her tree every year if she wishes and all it costs her is the printer ink or paint to do so.
