One of our favorite ideas from Garden in a City was the use of recycled everyday/industrial materials as ornaments for a parkway garden. The "Reusable Parkway" was done by Christy Webber designers Tony Butterworth and Brian Wildman. We really like the wine bottles used as pavers and edging - the mix of colored glass and the variance between the fully submerged pavers and the random heights of the edging looks organic and happily imperfect.

Love it!
Absalutely obsessed with this garden. I took about 15 shots of it that look just like these. This show was way better than Flower & Garden has been in a couple of years
I agree, Nicki. I thought it was a great show and am already looking forward to next year (and preferred it to Flower and Garden by far).
The whole set up with the "buildings" printed on the backdrops creating a front and back yard - very inventive and well designed.
