We've been spending a lot of time way out in the country lately. Early in the morning, the views from our house look like a Mark Rothko painting. The grasses are still covered with dew and the sun has not yet risen high enough to burn off the mist in the air...

by the way, you know he's one of my favorites (rothko)? i did one of our 2nd year projects on him. these totally have that same sort of quality.
