While checking out a local Independence, Missouri craft fair (which is exactly how you would picture it, quilts, sweatshirts with cats on them and all), we came across these iron animals. We liked them but weren't sure if they fit our more modern decor/landscaping.... that is until we saw something from the same artist adorning a local uber-modern dwelling. Click through the jump for one more and give us your thoughts!
This rabbit also caught our eye. The figures border on the country crafty side of things, but due to their materials we think they might actually work in certain spaces (obviously not all). Would this be something you would put in/ouside your home? Let us know in a comment below!

I think folk art works anywhere. These aren't cutesy -- they're more like Jeff Koons ironic.
That said, I'm not sure I'd put them in my own home.

I would love to have one of those in my garden! Just kitschy enought to fit any modern decor.

I have a cat in such a form. It was given to me a few years ago as a birthday present. It has very small slits all over the side and a hatch on the back to put a candle in. Although the one time I tried that, the entire cat got so hot I haven't dared to do it again.
I kept the cat in the kitchen on the window sill for ages but have recently relocated it to the bedroom.

I'd probably put the bunny in the house or garden because the bunny is teal and matches a lot of the accessories in my home. I have sort of an eclectic home though so it would fit right in.

My partner would love it! Can you buy these online and have them shipped?

I fell in love with almost the exact same things at our flea market in Nashville.
I think these would fit perfectly in a mod-cottage- style or even modern home maybe even in the kitchen if your decor is "kitchy or artsy" why not?
I would put one of these in my flower bed in a heartbeat!
