Apartment Therapy Chicago | Look!: World's Best Bathrooms

The bathroom is always a fascinating place to check out when we are at a restaurant, bar, hotel, or in another city or country. It is one of those rooms that weighs heavily on our experience at any one place: if the bathroom, powder room, restroom, loo, etc. isn't clean and lovely, then it doesn't matter how great the rest of the experience is.

In thinking about this post, we so wish we had a list of notes to go back to of all of our favorite (public) bathrooms. But since there have been so many good mixed with so many bad ones over the years, we are drawing a blank. What we did discover is the Travel Channel's list of the World's Best Bathrooms. We certainly don't agree with them all, but the glimpse is fascinating nonetheless...

We can't seem to find a date on this best of list, but we're guessing it needs an update.
