Elle Décor recently featured the 1840 clapboard house of interior designer Darryl Carter. A constant juxtaposition of rustic and the unexpected (beadboard walls surrounded by taxidermied animals, farm tables and Tizio lamps), Carter says of his home, "I like to call the style of this place Modern Barn."
