042506mca.jpg Browsing through the MCA Store can be a bit like walking wide-eyed around the museum itself. We mostly go for the book selection and range of fun, beautiful cards, 042506mcamobile.jpg
but the store also has a slew of home-related pieces that are functional as well as quirky and conceptual. From old favorites like the Calder-inspired mobiles (here, "Mini File" for $68) to the new, all-the-rage Japanese Egglings (for growing herbs and flowers), these are a few of our favorite finds:

MCA was the first Chicago institution we became family members in. Great place.

Also, there's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant in there--pricey, but a fun if you want to treat out-of-towners to something.
