We love receiving, reading, answering and posting your good questions, tips and ideas, but due to a problem with our online "contact us" form, your emails sent through that form have not been reaching the editors for several weeks...and we really miss it.
First of all, apologies to all of you who may have sent us mail through the contact us form - we politely request that you resend to us directly by writing to chicago (at) apartmenttherapy (dot) com, which is working just fine. And to everyone else, don't be shy - we'd love to hear from you.
Now, on to the slideshow....
As for the problems and concerns with the House Tour and other slideshows that many of you are having, we also sincerely apologize. We made some changes which we realize, thanks to all of you, are not working out consistently or well and we are working on a new design and overall fix which is underway, but it is taking longer than we hoped.
Many of you suggested reverting to the old design/format in the meantime, which is a great idea, but from what we hear, is simply not possible at the moment - we wish it was!
We hear you and are hoping for as quick a fix as possible - we too love the house tours and slideshows and want it working smoothly again as much as all of you do.
Thank you all for your patience during this bumpy tech patch - we appreciate your support while we sort out the tangle!
is it possible there's also something wrong with the search tool? when I tried the links the search engine provided, I was just redirected to the current homepage.

Thanks for the update. I'll be patiently waiting on the slideshow fixes. In the meantime, everyone is doing a great job. I heart AT!!!

Thank you for acknowledging that there are problems with the slide show and explaining that something is happening - the new format is really irritating, but even more irritating has been the seeming lack of acknowledgment of the problem by AT. It's nice to know that someone does care that readers dislike the change.
