apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

April: Bathrooms and...

2006-04-24-bathup.jpg As April flies by, we are trying to keep up - there is so much happening on the AT family of sites.

Let's start off with our monthly theme: Bathrooms. This weekend I attended the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show here in Chicago, and will post all about it during the week.

For the rest of the month, Heather and I will continue to blog ideas for this small room that we can't live without. As always, we appreciate your input. Please let us know if you have any good bath related tips, sources, pictures or questions.

We've read your comments on hopes for some good "outdoor living" discussion/focus, and it's coming. Here are the next two themes from our annual editorial calendar: in May we'll be concentrating on spring cleaning (yes, it's time and no, it won't hurt) and then in June, we'll bust out of doors, and blog away on gardening and life in the great outdoors...

2006-04-24-smallcool.png We'll be recovering this week - the big contest has come to an end. Last Thursday, at get-togethers in NY and LA, the winners of AT's Second Annual Smallest Coolest contest were announced - Congratulations to all from AT Chicago! Go check them out if you haven't already - they really are the coolest.

2006-04-24-book.png Maxwell continues the book blog, the online companion to his Apartment Therapy: The Eight Step Home Cure. The comments and photos from the readers are starting to come in, and the results are inspiring. It's not too late to join in.

2006-04-24-cityshot.jpgGreat news...today is the official launch of the newest AT blog, Apartment Therapy: San Francisco. Heather and I have been looking forward to enjoying Leslie and Lisa's take on a beautiful, inspiring city. They are open for business - go take a look!

Hi Janel,
who's the supplier of the above bath-tub? I plan to re-arrange my bathroom entirely within the next year and doing already some research on it.

Thanks a lot for your answer and have a nice day all of you !

JanyCH:
I like that shower/bath too - its the Caprieze by Heritage Bathrooms, which is a UK manufacturer, so I'm not sure it is available in the states at this time.
Here is Heritage's email contact info:
hercon(at)heritagebathrooms(dot)com
and a phone number:
+44(0)117 9633333
Good Luck! (sorry to tempt you with something that may be hard to get!)

Thanks Janel!
I don't think it should be a big problem, i'm living in Switzerland, and should find a distributor nearby...
