CB2: The New Spring Catalog is Out

We were shopping in CB2 this weekend. We picked up four "swank barware" double old-fashioned glasses (they are nice for everyday wine glasses).

We also snatched the new Spring 2007 catalog, which is hot off the presses. It is available online or if you'd like to read it in the bathtub, you can request one here...

The catalog features LOTS of black and white, bright greens (the 2006 color contest entries were right on), turquoise-y blues and browns. Orange is less represented than it was in years past, and we were surprised that we didn't see more gray, lavendar and pink in the mix.

We tried out the "Hippie" chairs, both the armchair and dining styles, and they are more comfy than they look, especially the dining chair. The finish is a bit shiny, but just not quite shiny enough for our taste - we wish they had been a real true laquered look, especially in the red.

Our favorite item currently: the "smart table" with the marble top is really nice in person. We don't need new bedside tables, but if we did, these would have been walked up Halsted last Sunday afternoon...
