February is Bedroom Month

Randall sent us this photo of a headboard that he just installed. He made it by "rePurposing" a balcony orginally from Argentina by way of Stuart at Architectural Artifacts.

He says to make the headboard he "sawed off the curved "ends" that tied into the building, removed the legs and cleaned up a lot of the schmootz". He then "made a base, brackets and patinaed the whole thing to match the existing "age" of the balcony section."

Whether you are a DIY whiz like Randall or not, if your bedroom is a part of your home that you are proud of, please send us a photo. We'll continue posting beautiful bedrooms throughout the month and the first 30 that are posted across the 4 city sites will receive an AT t-shirt or book as a thank you.
