Just three days left for February and our
bedroom blogging. We've seen and read about some creative solutions and beautiful ideas for your bedrooms, and if you still want to send in images of your proud, private room, we'd love to see (email us at chicago(at)apartmenttherapy(dot)com). We're also gearing up for March's
Smallest, Coolest Contest, a time when we celebrate cool dwellings under 650 sq. ft. Look for details on how to enter soon!
Pictured here, Jane & Darko's bedrom in the East Village, one of the four 2006 finalists, whose apartment we also saw last week on Oprah along with Maxwell's.

Get ready for March!
Love this.
Where did you get that rug?
That forest scene on the closet doors - do you know how the owner did that? I've been wanting to do some hanging panels (like, say, each drawer) so that I can add some big color to a wall I don't want to paint, but am not sure how to go about creating them.
Thanks for any ideas.
Nadia-
I just watched the Oprah episode about small space design and Jane explained how they made that closet panel. They took one of their own photographs, had it made into wallpaper, and just stuck it up there. The owner talks about it here:

And it looks like the name of the company that did it is Gallery Street (http://gallerystreet.com)
Ooop, looks like my Oprah link got cut off. Just add an "ml" to the end of that url (so that it completes itself with "html").
Jessica's got it right - it is custom wallpaper from Gallery Street which they used on ikea cabinets - i give the details and a link to gallery street in the "good questions" post about photo murals linked at my name...
Thanks gals!
