growing up in the 'burbs, every 4th (well, actually the 3rd) we'd take the burlington line in to downtown of a full day at taste of chicago and fend our way through the masses to a spot usually at buckingham fountain for fireworks over the lake. now that i no longer live in the area, all fireworks seem to pale in comparison!
