I do not like his overall style nor design only some of the elements he designed and imported from China.

Where can I find that green and white wallpaper on the walls?!? I already checked Jonathan Adler's Website, and it is not pictured.
Anyone? Know of anything similar??

Ferm Living has some great wallpaper. I thought this might be theirs, but didn't see it on their website. They have some great branch and weed patterns.

How funny,
Here I came in to profess my secret dislike of all things Jonathan Adler, thinking I would be crucified. Turns out I'm not the only one.
Dude bugs me.

See you later, decorator!

I followed up Mrs.B's suggestion, and only find this blue or silver tree wallpaper:

Like Mrs.B says, they DO have some good patterns, how about this:

I haven't found anything else either.

I dig his boyfriend! Does he count for inspiration?

Here's the annoying thing: I have a fairly happy home. It's a comment people often use when visiting.
And I would consider entering this contest, except that the happiness here was in no way inspired by Jonathan Adler.
Would be nice if they could encourage original ideas.

Geesh, I should enter based on the lack of interest/excess of aversion alone -- better chances of winning! And I'd gladly accept the prize. I love Adler: his work, his style, his personality. Of course it can all be a bit over the top and blase, but isn't that kind of the point? It works on me, at least.

If the picture above is an example of his style then I'd rather live in my unhappy chic home.

This guy's style makes my eyes bleed.

Like it or not, he's taken the Palm Beach 70s excess feel and added a dose of modernism to it.. I like it! From today's NJ media...

i think if you were to furnish and decorate your entire apartment with jonathan adler products it might be a bit much, yeah, but he does have some cool stuff. the pottery and bed linens are particularly good IMO.

Well, I see his happy home concept has certainly not rubbed off on MANY here.
Rain on parades, much?

Why all the Jonathan Adler hate? It's not my preferred style, but I think he does it well, judging by the photos on his web site.
Happy? That's something I would never have thought to strive for in decor. I like tranquil, but now I wonder if a little happy thrown in might be a good idea.

Jonathan Adler has designed quite a few furniture pieces as well as lamps and decorative accessories that are beautiful and or fun. While I wouldn't want to live in a home decorated in nothing but his designs, I do appreciate a few pieces mixed in with what I have.

I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks he stinks.

Adler does have some really beautiful pieces (just look at some of his sofas -- simple, elegant, classic) but I tend to think he goes a little too far with accessory. I mean, seriously, the wallpaper above is just ghastly. And the guy needs to buy some socks.
