Newsweek just created two groups of 12 - their "Design Dozen" lists.
One is a list of great global ideas - "the best of the new" which features pattern (Missoni Home, left), the Bubble Project and Context.
The other is a list of design websites - "sites that define cool". Apartment Therapy is included (yay!), along with MoCo Loco, Design*Sponge, and Treehugger.
Hmm, that lamp looks like something from 60s and early 70s Sweden.
