Montreal

Now that the Oscars are out of the way, make room for an awards ceremony for architecture! The Ordre des Architectes du Québec has announced its 43 finalists for their 2009 Awards of Excellence in Architecture. The projects range from large public works to small, single family residences and interior designs. The awards program is now in its 25th year and there are a couple of exciting ways for the public to get involved...

The public can view the finalists and vote for their favorites here. Also, on February 28, come to the Canadian Centre for Architecture for All-Nighter at the CCA. One of the activities that night will be a bus tour of the nominated projects. French buses depart at 4, 6, and 8; English buses at 5 and 7. Sounds like fun to us!

Excuse me. Isn't Quebec bilingual, I mean the rest of Canada is....perhaps they have not mastered the English language yet.

Peachpie,
I think you know the answer to your own question and it sounds to me like you're picking a fight.

The majority of Quebec is french speaking, therefore it's only normal the tour would be given both in french & english.
If the tour were given in french in the rest of Canada, I can assure you that many people would not understand.

I don't have a problem with the french in quebec, but where is the english on the website? If I missed it, please point it out to me. Or is this show only for the french reading public.

1. The Colegio de Arquitecto de Chile has a spanish only website, because it's in Chile.
2. The Architectural Institute of British Columbia has an english only website, because it is in British Columbia.
3. The Ordres des Architectes du Quebec has a french only website, because it is in Quebec.

All countries/states/provinces have their dominant languages. So to answer you question, no, there's no english version.
