Thanks to AT reader Roni for letting us know about tonight's Taste of the Nation event (we slipped and forgot it on last week's events calendar). While we fully support the idea of eating at home, this event is a great reason not to (and maybe you'll learn a few new recipes along the way)...
While you sample foods and drinks from local restaurants at the River East Art Center, 100% of your ticket proceeds will support the effort to end childhood hunger in Chicago, across America, and abroad.
The event is co-chaired by David Burke, chef/owner of Primehouse and Alpana Singh, host of Check, Please!. Although it's too late to get last-minute tickets online, you can purchase them at the door tonight.
