The home goods that are ALWAYS on sale in November are quilts and blankets - something warm to make your bed even harder to get out of on the increasingly chilly mornings. We took a quick look at a few shops to see if this old retail adage is true and found some good deals...
Track & Wideband Quilts in selected colors were $275 and are now $83 at Unison (shown above)
Lots of sale quilts and coverlets at Pottery Barn
40-50% off Quilts and Bedspreads at Macy's
20% off throws at West Elm
Half price wool blanket at Room & Board
Have any other deals to share? Let us know in the comments...
One Kings Lane has Matteo bedding today at pretty awesome prices (awesome in that it's finally in my price range!). Everything seems to be selling out pretty fast, but it's worth a look- there are several gorgeous duvet covers.

To Whom this may concern,
I am writing to let you know that I am furious to discover that what I thought was a great service -- limited quantities of overstock at a deeply discounted price -- is merely a sham. Today I ordered the Henckles knife set (see order confirmation below), only to discover that the same set is offered on Amazon.com for $199.00 with free shipping. $52.95 less, or fully 25% less than what I paid you.

I want you to know that I will never recommend your site to anyone, I will never purchase from you again, and I will actively post about my experience on every design blog I can find, especially Apartment Therapy, where I first read about your site.
You're just a rip-off with a fancy wrapper. Thanks for nothing.
SINCERELY,
-Kim Grant
