apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

dELiA's

We know dELiA's is really meant for the teen set, but a reader recommended we check out their home stuff, just for kicks. 102506blossom.jpg What we discovered: So much color, pattern, and fun, with some pieces seeming more cross-generational than others, of course. While we can't attest to the quality of their goods (can anyone else tell us?), we do like some of the looks, like this sweet Blossom Light ($26, right).

Actually, this entire room design is both colorful and sophisticated, and the light-up flowers add a youthful, fun element to a room filled with more traditional navy blues, reds, and florals. The offerings online were limited, but we found a few more items of interest (below the jump):

I got a fold-up saucer chair from Delia's 2 years ago and I love it.

i have a duvet cover and sheet set from delia's, each about three years old, and they're in good shape. i don't think it's fancy bedding by any means, but it's good as far as basic cotton bed linens go. also, i have a basic style peacoat and it's pleasantly un-teenage-ish and in really good shape after three years. their quality's not bad.
