Felix Populi: From the Creator of Brini Maxwell

1-24-08felixlogo.jpgFelix Populi is a new web-based shop from the creator of the Brini Maxwell character. Brini (played by Ben Sander on TV) evokes the 1950s and '60s, a satirical Donna Reed with a stiff drink in her hand. The new line is an equal mix of happy chic meets acid house (loosely translated from Latin, Felix Populi means "happy people"). Click below for more information and links to products.

There are only a few products available now (pillows, tea towels, and a hot pink-and-orange vinyl apron) but the site promises a "fleshed-out" collection coming soon. A couple of items are also available through the king of happy chic...Jonathan Adler's Madison Avenue boutique carries the line. One nice bonus: 10 percent of all web purchases go to a "charity of the month."
