Established in 1944, Lewis & Sheron, longtime Atlanta decor fabric shop has made the transition to online retailer. Free shipping on all U.S. orders, a good search function and decent prices (13.98/yard is a popular price point) make this a viable alternative. Grid, right, is $11.98/yard.
A fun part of the Lewis & Sheron site: an online archive shows fabrics from the past that are not carried in the showroom anymore but are still available by special order (with a minimum of 25 yards).
