Scandinavia Design Online

We came across the Scandinavia Design Online store on decor8 today. Once we started poking around the site we soon realized that we liked just about everything. And they do have everything.

052206bergachair.jpgCheck out the astounding collection of garden furniture, especiallly this Nozib lounger ($1,470). We also love that they offer 60 selections of fabric, for a number of projects or simply as "wall candy art."

052306streamgarden.jpgOther highlights: This multi-level Green Fortune Streamgarden for $178.43 (pictured here), and this beautiful Lulu wool rug by Mairo.

The site is in English, and offers you a currency choice (lower left corner of the page). Make sure to set this for easier shopping! And yes, SDO offers worldwide shipping.

(Thanks, Holly!)

so, if i wanted to use one of the fabrics as "wall candy," how would i go about doing that? build a frame and then attach the fabric? is this an easy thing to do?

G-- this is a tremendously easy thing to do. Just buy canvas stretcher bars at an art supply store to easily (and inexpensively) create a wooden frame:

You might even find one already made if you don't have an exact size in mind.

Then stretch the fabric over the frame and use a staple gun to secure it to the back.

yes, the stretcher bars look much easier than trying to figure out how to build a frame on my own. Thank you!
