I like both but my husband is being picky, and I'm having a hard time finding different styles. Also, anybody ever use a fixture like this? Would you recommend it?
2. Anyone find a bath ceiling light/ventilation fan that's reasonably attractive?
Thanks!

I used a light fixture very similar to the first one. We got it at Lowes and the brand was Portfolio. It looks really nice on the wall and is very bright for our small room. I have photos on my flickr site with the light fixture for our half bath. Good luck! http://www.flickr.com/photos/degerkas/

Hi everyone,
I am working towards my master degree and my final thesis is on the modern design market. I am hoping some readers could take a few moments to fill out a quick survey. If you are willing and have a moment:

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do when an owner/neighbor just refuses to follow your condo bylaws?
I live in a 9-unit building and I suspect that the woman who lives next door to me has some serious issues. We hear her yelling/ranting/screaming at all hours, but not necessarily for long enough periods to call the police.
My bedroom shares a wall with hers and she frequently wakes me up around 2-3 AM with her shouting. I have not approached her directly because, quite frankly, I am afraid of her. I definitely think that some degree of substance abuse is involved. I mean, we have heard her yelling at her CAT.
The condo association has sent certified letters to her about this and imposed fines, but it doesn't seem to impact her behavior, so nothing is really accomplished.
Any advice on how to handle this?

I have this one (and a matching ceiling fixture w/ 4 lights) and am relatively happy with it. Light can be a little harsh, but I think that's what your getting with any fixture like these (versus a diffused source). Definitely a bit more masculine/industrial.

Is there anyone out there who would like a cockatiel?
We love him very much but we are hoping there is someone else who will love him from now on.

We're re-doing our bathroom and I have two related questions. Responses appreciated!
1. I'm looking for a lighting fixture that's like a short track light, but wall-mounted, like these two:
