is the giveaway page working for anyone? It loads but then the only thing that actually has a link to a contest is the lamp. Nothing else works?

I found some gifts I want to buy online, but I'm curious--is it better to wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday to start shopping, even online? Will you get a better deal (or at least free shipping)? Or am I just risking things being sold out by then?
