With the economy in the toilet, I'm really enjoying seeing budget makeovers. Especially when they refinish or repurpose things they already own.

I actually did a DIY post recently on painting (and sealing) a hardwood floor for my master bath. I keep hoping AT will include my before & after pics of my bath, but nothing yet. Pout.
I am still holding out for warm weather. I want to garden!!

The most budget-friendly of kitchen makeovers? Swap the cabinet hardware. We replaced our old drab antique brass hardware with some bright shiny new silver ones - all of $60 for the whole kitchen. The change is amazing. Found great pieces online (cabinetknob.com), and have something bright and cheerful just in time for Spring.
