Totally off topic, but can anyone recommend a vet that specializes in exotics? My Singapura cats, Astra and Petra, need to see someone very soon! Spanks.

jennie, i take my cats to the cat hospital of chicago and highly recommend them. obviously they only work on cats there. i'm not sure if they specialize on exotics, but give them a ring and i'm sure they could lead you in the right direction if they don't.
I don't know about a specialization but I've gone to the Lincoln Park Cat and Dog clinic for years and have been extremely happy with the vets there....

OK great! I had a problem with a vet once and later I ran into the nurse who worked there and she said, "I can't believe you would even consider coming back. He kills exotics all the time." Needless to say I was freaked out! Thanks for the recommendations.

Can someone recommend a good book on picking colors for a room? My wife and I will be living in Chicago very soon. The apartment we got is very open and full of floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the city. The kitchen has white cabinets and white granite countertops. We have a dining room table and curio cabinet that are wenge colored. I really want to paint since I've lived with apartment white for way too many years. I'm looking for a couple of books or websites that help with explaining how colors go together (and how to make white on white kitchen not seem weird with dark furniture).
I saw a website for Urban Source. Has anyone visited this place? I see they offer some free design help.
Thoughts?

I think I'm too scared to go to the party tonight.
Unless, of course, there's free food. Then I'm all over it.
