apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

can someone please tell me where to get the chrome filing cabinet or similar that was in the Derek sanders house tour in domino a month or two ago? I just love the shiny metallic look! Ive posted on the forums at domino and Ive had zero help!

I have some dark blue (fabric) Samsonite luggage - great for traveling but pretty boring to look at. I'd like to spruce it up a bit before an upcoming trip - maybe by using spraypaint to stencil a simple design or make stripes?

Has anyone done anything like this before with their luggage? How did it turn out? What did you use?

Cheap would be acrylic paint (brush or sponge on) using the additive to use it on fabric. Small bottles in any crafty department run a buck or two. I use tape to do a couple of stripes or trace around a glass to make circles for random dots or even a stencil. Makes for good identification too!!

Hey! Unless I'm imagining things, Extra Extra was on after SNL last night and they were doing a piece on Kenny Chesney, the country wester singer, and his latest video was shot at the Farnsworth House!

The clip was only a few seconds but maybe someone could try to pull it up somehow. The footage that I saw was at night so the house was illuminated from within--really cool.
